53rd Patriot Days Encampment

June 10-11-12 2022

Patriot Days is Back !

We are thrilled to return after a 2-year pandemic break.

We unexpectedly need staffing for our 24-hour First Aide station.

Though the first source of First Aid should always be with the trained first aiders who are in your own unit, we have always provided the comfort of knowing that there is an EMT on-site.

Though it is preferable that the person(s) be an EMT, we know that many Scouters have had extensive training in first aid.

We would welcome any time that can be devoted in as many hours increments as can be offered.  The person(s) can sleep at the First Aid station or during the day just be stationed there.

Please contact us at patriotdays@aol.org or call 610-775-3725

Thank you.

We are pleased to announce that we have a new Races organizer.

Join us for the Weekend or Just for the Day!

Since 1967 thousands of youth have gathered annually for one weekend in June at the Daniel Boone Homestead in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, to meet new friends and share in a unique camping experience. Participants include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, Heritage Girls, family campers, and other youth organizations.

The Patriot Days Encampment Committee operates the Encampment with the cooperation of the Daniel Boone Homestead. The Committee is composed of volunteers with backgrounds in different areas of Scouting and is not affiliated with any other organization.

Each year campers enjoy a wide range of interesting and enjoyable events, activities, and attractions through the entire weekend. Our program includes demonstrations, skill games, a camp fire, a dance, competitions, local craftspeople, and tours of the Daniel Boone Homestead. Other things are in the planning stages as we constantly update the program.
